Thanks for inexpensive and simple fix!!With rechargeable batteries it is difficult to predict longer term effectiveness; however, so far the batteries have been good - therefore only 4 stars.These batteries work well and get the job done.I haven't seen any issues with them so far.The batteries are packed in a minimalistic packaging.Simple, easy, good as it is less waste.Yes all the batteries came pre-charged and showed up as 1.25v +-0.01v.I don't have any special setup to test whether the capacity (mah) is as advertised. I do own some other batteries with lower capacity and these seem to outperform them. After charging the batteries I can tell that the batteries do hold their power well as measuring them right out of the charger shows 1.4v. This seems normal to me.At the time of writing, the value for these batteries are good but aren't great. AmazonBasics AA 2000mah (16-Pack) are on sale. The capacity advertised on them are a bit higher and they offer more batteries for a similar pricing. However i'd grab these over any disposable batteries provided you have the option to charge them in your situation as the value is obviously better.We have WAAAY too many battery driven devices and some of them are pretty high demand units. I switched to recharges some time ago and it took 2 years to find a really good battery brand that proved it's worth versus cost. I have been using them ever since. Trying this brand was a shot in the dark and much to my surprise, they have proven themselves to be everybit as good as my others in performance. With 3 weeks of multiple applications, I am very happy with them. They are long lsst, put out power in high demand devices, charge well, all of them achieved a minimum of 98% capacity on a complete charge - with is rare.The only other test for them and this one takes time to determine, is whether they will maintain that capacity over time. Many rechargeables lose capacity after anywhere from 6 months to a year. Sometimes up to a 50% reduction in capacity.I will do my best to update this review in that window ir shortly after, to report on how they are doing.Based on preliminary metrics and performance, these seem to be a really great battery at a very good price.Like the title says. They're batteries. They are rechargeable.I used a rather complex hobby grade charger to discharge a few of these, and then to recharge them. All of them took at least 1600mAh, if not more. I haven't had time to really test long term durability, but provided I get at least 10 cycles per cell, these represent good value. Self discharge seems fairly low too, I didn't note any voltage drop after a few days of sitting charged. Don't buy these expecting way more capacity, they will need to be charged more frequently than a disposable battery would last, but this is sort of the point; you recharge them.I recommend these for any of those applications where you go through a lot of batteries. I personally use these for VR controllers, Xbox controllers, and some kids toys. They're perfect for those applications.
