The two sets of lights were beautiful...and then quickly everything failed. I used these when designing my client's landscaping. I highlighted the canopy of a beautiful unique tree in their front yard to make it the focal point. It was lovely. My client loved how bright, but soft and sparkly, the lights looked in their tree. Within a week, the lights didn't follow the button selection entered on the attached controller. I would set it to a fading pattern within 15 minutes they would start doing the random selection flashing, fading, trailing, whatever. THAT made them an eyesore, as if tree was doing anything for attention. Even worse, they just stopped working altogether within three months. I thought it was due to poor batteries that just needed to be put on my charger to pump them up. We left them alone and worked on other landscaping needs. When I got around to opening them, they had water inside. The batteries were corroded, and they were beyond clean up/repair. I have been decorating and landscaping using solar lights for many years. I have solar lights that I bought in 2013 that have been outside in the wet NorCal Bay Area and have never even needed batteries pulled out to be charged. They work every night with never an issue. Still, I have had others that worked for a while and soon needed new batteries. I have never had outdoor lights that even with silicon seals get flooded with water. These lights were a big disappointment that I wish I never used on my client's landscaping. Unfortunately, I never contacted the vendor within the warranty timeframe, as I thought they only needed the batteries charged up a bit. Nope, move on to other options. These are not durable or reliable, and certainly not recommended.
