I'm a bit disappointed in these Christmas light stakes because they were advertised as universal but yet they don't fit any of our strings of modern LED C9 lights. We tried several different sets with these and were unable to use them. We read the provided instructions but unfortunately were not able to make it work.Even if they had worked, I'm not sure they're exactly what we wanted because of how short the stakes are. Once the stakes are driven into the ground, the lights are only an inch or two at most above the ground. Our grass is taller than that!Please be sure to look at the picture of the candelabra in the listing closely and make sure your lights have exactly that one, otherwise the stakes probably will not work. Because of their limited range, I don't think the word universal should be used to describe them.
