These just arrived today and we put them up immediately. I originally had globe lights with a black cord and bulbs that were spaced one foot apart, and they were way too bright and visible for our covered porch. These half half the amount of bulbs and are perfect on our 21 x 8' porch. I also appreciate that they're LED, so the bulbs are always cool to the touch. I bought a dimmer (by Treatlife for $24) and the range of light it provides is awesome and really lets you control the ambiance.I'll update if they don't hold up for some reason, but I'm very happy with them so far. The white cord makes them disappear under our white porch ceiling, and the plastic shatterproof bulbs make them very lightweight. I also would recommend the Treatlife dimmer. It's wifi-enabled, so you can control them when you're not home, which is a nice feature. The attached photos show the lights at 100% vs 1% brightness.
