This solar post light / wall light features an attractive 19th-century lamp design and has now been integrated with our latest revolutionary technology: a patented outdoor Solar LED Light Bulb providing 150-Lumens on a full charge. Standing 15 in. tall with a powder-coated black finish and beveled glass panes, this solar lamp will add style and distinction wherever it's installed. Easy to install and providing ample light to illuminate your pathways, this solar light is the perfect energy and money-saving replacement for electric or gas-powered outdoor lighting. This single solar lamp can be installed on a 3in post as post light, pier / flat post mount, or wall sconce. Integrated Lithium Ion battery pack lasts for approximately 3 years (roughly 1000 charges) and can be replaced for an additional 3 years of operation. AUTOMATIC DUSK-TO-DAWN PERFORMANCE. On a full charge, the 150 Lumens bulb will shine through most of the night at a warm white 2700K color temperature. The integrated sensor turns the unit on at dusk, helping with security even when you’re not home. Up to 25 hours on Low, 12 hours on High.
NO WIRING OR COMPLICATED HOOKUPS. No electrical wiring is required for installation, making this Gama Sonic solar outdoor light the perfect light to install while offering a cost and energy efficient alternative to gas and electric outdoor lighting.
WILL LAST FOR YEARS. This premium solar waterproof exterior light has an integrated LiFePO4 Lithium Ion battery-pack that is good for about 2,000 charges or about 5 years. Once the battery exceeds its life, just replace the battery pack.

For several years I looked out my front window at an old gas lamp that was not working. It had been disconnected after a new city ordinance long before I bought the house. At one point one of the glass panels broke and it became the spring/summer home for a local bird family. I thought about running an electrical cable to the post, but it was way too much work for me and too expensive to hire out. At one point I literally had an epiphany... what about a solar lamp! I did some research and look at several different options, finally landing on this one. I'm very happy with it, and my post has never looked better. I live in Minnesota and we have about 9-10 hours of daylight right now during the winter. That's enough to keep the post lit up all night long and into the next morning. It's bright enough, but I don't think I would depend on it for a primary source of light. I have two other lights on the garage hooked up to a dusk/dawn timer for that.P.S. I waited until the birds left home...
