I used these for Christmas pictures and some milestone pictures for my daughter and love these! They give such a magical quality to my photographs. Just the right amount of light but not overly powerful that they take away from the objects they're around. I also love that the wires are green so I can blend them in with grass and other darker objects.I had fun playing with this light string yesterday to see what all it could do. Flashing, twinkling, fade out, etc. it appears to do it all. Modes can be changed either by the button on the main plug or by the remote that comes with the set. I did have a bit of trouble using the remote, but finally got it to work. I think it might need a new battery because I had to stand almost on top of the plug before it switched the modes. Once I did that, it put the strand through its paces flawlessly. Bulbs are cool to the touch. I really like these!These lights are a good option when using to decorate anything green or darker in color as the coated green wires will blend in nicely. The lights themselves are a pleasant warmer white color, not a cool white or blue shade that I really do not like. They appear to be good quality and well made. Also, they will cover a large area, 95 feet is longer than I anticipated.The most unique string of lights I’ve ever seen. They have very thin wires with a dark green color. There are 300 small lights and they can get really bright and also offer many color combinations by using the included remote.There’s 8 mode settings that are all controlled by a single remote. Very easy to use, but make sure to check out the diagram in the Amazon ad to show you what the different buttons do. It has many options: combination, in waves, sequential, slogs, chasing/flash, slow fade, twinkle/flash, and steady on.They are safe to use outside and are waterproof. They have a UL plug-in transformer that requires you to ply them together and then screw an adapter around the connection to make it waterproof. Everything is included with very good directions.We are really excited to wrap them around the garland that we have in our living room hanging over our French doors. We are attaching the lights to the garland with wire ties and so excited that the light’s wires are concealed by the garland. They are very lightweight and work wonderful!We like to decorrate or house for the holidays. I wanted to put these in our spare room. I didnt like where I initially put them and tried to move them somewhere else. The lights immediately got tangled. After spending an hour to get them straightened, I realized these lights would probably only look good on something like a pole. The lights are small and spaced apart. Hanging them just wouldn't look right. I addition the plug doesn't match any type we couldn't have. Unless we buy more if the same light we are unable to connect them to other light end to end without the adapter.Now that the awkward parts are out of the way, I do want to mention how pretty the colors. You are also able to choose between several different light patterns.Attractive, small lights that work equally well indoors or out. Terrific value. Easy to program.
