Love the design and that they are solar powered. It's hard to tell if they are on or off during the day because of the button on the control panel.You get what you pay for. $11 is what I paid and they aren’t worth but $5. The string barely covered a yearling pine tree. The solar attachment came unscrewed and the spring popped out after opening. Luckily I bought two so I knew how to fix from the second. They are dim, the stars are pretty… but they are a nightmare to untangle! I think I untangled three times before I hung and constantly as I hung. Just time consuming, but I guess if stars are what you want you deal with it. I’ll review on solar power and light duration after use. This is day one, and they did come on in evening and it’s raining. That’s a plus so far…We placed the mini solar panel into a bracket next to the window where it got lots of sun and the lights stayed lit all night - we made an arrangement across the front window - they are pretty enough to see unlit from the inside during the day - sparkled in the sunlight. They are lightweight and will not bang against the window - I taped them with invisible tape between the hanging hooks just in case it got super windy (which it did) and they stayed put for over a month, working perfectly. Will use them next ChristmasNot bright enough. Didn’t last one season. Hard to untangle!I put these up yesterday afternoon, as it was a nice sunny day. After reading the directions I wasn’t sure if I had enough hours of sunlight to fully charge them. It’s August, and I’m in Ohio, hung the lights about 2 PM, sun went down close to 9 PM. They lit nicely, so to test them out, I left them on constant instead of flickering for the entire night. It’s now 5:30 AM, the next day, and the lights are still on and look exactly as they had when I went to bed last night. I’ll get more!It was what I needed for a small Bush at the end of my propertyI have had these for a couple months. They are nice bright blue color when lit. They appear good quality and my son loves them.These Star lights are beautiful and stay lit almost from dusk till dawn. I’ve had them for several months and enjoy them daily! I gave them a 4 on durability because one star came off and is irreparable but the rest of them still work. I purchased two of these and the one that has the solar panel in a better position works well, so try it until you see where it works best.
