If you're looking for a traditional string of lights, this could be for you. No dimmer, no wifi, can't change the color, no programs (i.e., blinking patterns), not voice assistant controllable - just plug 'em in and they're on, unplug and they're off. Yeah, no on/off switch either.Considering all the other options out there these days, these seem pretty old-school. Of course many "smart" functions can be added with smart plugs and dimmers, but none of these are here out of the box so it would mean an extra expense. On the plus side I like that the LED bulbs are plastic and therefore shatterproof.But for what this is, it does the job - and if that's what you're looking for the price is great.These were exactly what I wanted. Perfect light temperature (warmish neutral color) and brightness. I am going to get a dimmer, but the brightness is perfect for easily seeing everything you would need to buy not so bright that it ruins the ambiance. Happy!These were great until we had to take them down for patio maintenance. As soon as two of them touched each other, they shattered all over our new patio.These are great lights. They are very durable and well made. They offer a good variety of dim/light options. They are easy to hang and good in all kinds of weather.
