Another reason is the IQ technology's formidable performance spectrum which is housed in a minimalist casing. This headlight offers 80 lux and is more than 6 times brighter than required by the German traffic regulations. Stainless steel mounting bracket and screw included. For 6 volt, 3 watt dynamos only; cannot be used with batteries.

Purchased this light for my touring bicycle along with the Busch & Muller Toplight Line Brake Plus taillight to be powered by a Shimano hub. This model of the Lumotec is 80 lux and very bright with an excellent beam. The light really illuminates well.There are brighter lights out there, but those are recommended for off-road. This light when properly angled provides excellent coverage when it is dark. The light also runs in a daylight mode and has a sensor to turn on when it's dark out.Excellent product and worth the cost.
