This is unfortunate because a little more attention to detail and this could have been a 4-star product as I like the styling and the rubber gasket seals. However, I had to modify the socket bracket to get a 13W standard CFL (the most common 60W replacement) to fit. Even then it's tight. Even more annoying is that the socket is mounted horizontally so that it the light shines bright from one side. Consequently it looks like a two-light fixture with one bulb burned out. The fixture is round so it would have been just as easy to mount the socket vertically, which is what I'll do.This product is proudly made in china (labels are everywhere) however I'm not sure it was engineered there. If you like fixing new products then this is the light for you.It's big, it's white, it lights.
