These are so cute. Perfect colors for summer!These came with copper wire and not silver as statedPut on my Santas and village really cuteOnly 2 of the lights in the pack are remote operable, the other 2 require manual turn on. This is not how they are described. Very disappointing. I have 8 windows that require remote.The remote doesn’t work so you have to manually turn it on every nightThey were not orange lights — they were white — two of the strands did not work with a remoteNice lights that are easy to set up and use.In the four pack you get two that you can control with remote and then two sets are ones you switch on/off with the button on the battery back.Like that these are a nice color without being so bright they are bothersome to be on.Gives the room a nice little glow when we have them set up.The ones that you can use remote on have 8 different setting you can pick from.Colors are very nice on these lights. Great value compared to others we have tried.These light strings are actually pretty great. First off, they are long: 100 lights and 33 feet long for each string. Of course this will be too long for some people and not long enough for others, but 100 lights is a nice number.I got the orange lights because I wanted a warm, ambient glow in my TV room at night and I am not disappointed in my choice. I got a bunch of tiny transparent clips to string these the way I wanted and am happy with the results.Remote controlled light strings:I like that the remotes work for both sets of remote-controlled lights. You also don't need the remote to turn on the lights or cycle through the different light patterns - you can use the button on the battery case. I actually got a third remote in my package. I'm sure this was an error, but I'm flush with remotes now.The battery box is a nice design and feels fairly rugged with large hinges and clasps. The molded loop on the top is great for hanging the box. The clear case is fine in theory, but you end up seeing the batteries inside. Is that a better aesthetic than if the box were black or some other color? Depends on your preference.Non-remote controlled strings:Because these are not controlled by the remotes you are limited in the operation of the lights. You don't get the many choices of light patterns, dimming or timer functions, but if you just want to turn the lights on, you can. You can choose between flashing or steady-on light patterns. The battery case is also different, and quite a bit cheaper. It has a cover that comes off more like an old TV remote control instead of the nice hinged system like the other sets. That's really not a big issue, the only real problem is that there is no loop on these boxes so you don't have a place to use to hang the box.Aside from that, the actual string of lights is the same as the other sets. Just be careful when working with them as they are basically two very thin copper wires with LEDs every 4 inches. It would be pretty easy to get these tangled up and less easy to untangle them. Because the wires are so thin, I would wager they are also fairly delicate. I didn't have any issues with breaking anything, but it would not take much, so just be aware of that and take your time.These kinds of lights are everywhere now, but this packaged deal of 4 strings of lights is pretty great. I'd recommend these.
