The lights are great however I wanted pink and received purple. I will be ordering pink from elsewhere.To light up plants and a wooden cross in my front windowEasy to get goingNiceThese lights are great in all other regards, but the color is not as warm/yellow as I had hoped. I like the remote, but you have to be very close by and pointing directly at the battery packThese far exceeded my expectations. I used them to decorate two party chairs. The brightness is amazing (plus you can dim them if they’re too bright) and I couldn’t believe all of the different modes it has—steady lights, blinking lights in multiple patterns, automatic dimming then getting bright again, etc. You can control the settings from either the power pack (you need 3 AA batteries for each power pack) or the remote. I still can’t believe these were only $12.00. It’s always nice to buy something and have it exceed your expectations. Would definitely recommend (I’m buying more!).The wires are coated and don't tangle. I bought multi-colored lights for Christmas and put them on a tree across the road from my house, the match-head sized lights show up delightfully well. The remote works fine when within about 10 feet of the lights. Lots of patterns for choosing your light show. The timer is repeatedly 6 hours on and 18 hours off from the time you turn them on. I turned them on at dusk the day after Thanksgiving and they shut off around 11 PM; hope they last through New Year Day. I can replace the 3 batteries in each battery pack, I'm not sure about the one that came installed in the remotes.I bougth these to decorate a pine tree 9n front of the house as a Christmas tree and they worked well. They are not too bright and are adequate for the christmas decorations and I liked the fact that I can use batteries for them, however i didn't understood the 4 different remotes, i meant, it doesn't make sense.Nice lights however impossible to detailed, they should roll better
