I have two older light sets. One set is the icicle type with white plastic which supposedly takes 2.5 v bulbs .17amps .6 watts. These replacement bulbs barely glow when installed on this set. Not much brighter than a burned out bulb. Other reviewers have had similar results with any brand of replacement bulbs as seen in some reviews. Anyway I seen any evidence that there is a replacement bulb out there that will work when installed in this set. My second set is net lighting with green plastic which uses the same style bulb takes 2.5v .17amps .425 watts. These replacement bulbs work perfectly in this set. The wattage rating is the only difference I can see. So if you buy these or any other replacement bulbs they may or may not work depending on your light set. Good luck.
