These are beautiful, large and bright. They remind me a bit of the size bulbs we used decades ago, but much prettier. One concern I read is that there is no female end for connecting. It is an advantage to me, because I have one string on either side of my picket fence gate. I don't have to weatherize a female end. However, if you unscrew the cap, it is possible to connect. About half the length of the picket fence has a garland with these lights. The rest just are swagged. They look like ornaments in the daylight, which is an unexpected bonus. The timer works great. We don't understand all of the remote and have no manual. Since I only want the constant-on mode, it is fine. We were able to select that with a button on the plug.I contacted the seller through a very patient Amazon helper. She walked me through all the steps. I was inquiring if I could purchase a few extra bulb/outside cover parts. One package arrived with two off the set. It was easy to replace them. However, the one was a blue cover over a yellow led bulb. This resulted in a pale lime light. I also thought it would be good to have extras. The seller responded within 12 hours apologizing for the problem. They stated that they could not sell those separately. Therefore, they were shipping me an entire new strand of lights! Janteenth had them mailed within 24 hours, I believe. They are very thorough and very polite.
