I bought 3500 of these lights for outdoor Holiday decorations. I wrapped the AC units in plastic with electrical tape so they would not be exposed to weather. The lights worked great until the first rain. After that, about a quarter of the lights either stopped working or worked intermittently. Upon closer inspection, I see that some of the strands were spliced at the factory and the splicing was not done well. On top of that, the strands of wire that connect all the lights is very thin and brittle. When I took all the lights down there were some kinks in the strands caused by placement in branches in trees and bushes outside. These kinks split and the wires broke, this happened on two of the eight strands I bought. I suspect I will have to repair this next year before using them again. Also, since you cannot connect them end-to-end means that you have to have one plug per strand which makes the logistics of getting power to the strands complicated. Overall these lights are very bright but the durability and quality is questionable.great lights that you can actually leave up all year round if you want because the wire is so thin that you can hardly see they are there.The light is a beautiful led bluish color when lite up.I plan on leaving them up year round since I live in an area with campers that string lights up during the summer and all the houses around our lake used to be cabins and only open during the summer,but are now year round.There is allot on the roll I do not know the exact measurements of my home I am guessing approx. 55x35 with peaks and ins and outs around add on's and I was lucky it went all the way around and are so cute.Would buy again or recommend for that lazy guy or has a hard time putting up every year.I needed a set of lights that would enable me to light up the natural pine branches I used to decorate the windowboxes, but without the stiffness and weight of conventional Christmas lights and this set of fairy lights, more than delivered the results I hoped to get. We also had a lot of rain in my area and the lights were able to withstand the really wet conditions, which was also a concern for me. Good product, vivid color, easy to use!Bought this item in different colors and lengths in past two years with great results (do expect shorter lengths to be brighter). Push-pins are great for quick installation and adjustments but NOT outdoors: exposed to the elements over time, where the metal tip of push-pin makes contact corrodes/oxidizes the wire and shorts out the lights. (Solder repaired failure points with lesson learned.) A dab every couple feet with hot glue gun works great indoors but for more durable and permanent outdoor installation go back and also dab clear silicone/adhesive every couple feet.Excellent quality, vivid colors, AAAA++++These bulbs are wired together- no sockets to fail. They may not look like much, but that’s half their appeal. I like ‘em!I strung these under my patio around the edge. They look so great. The warm white is truly warm. Very easy on the eyes. The strand is very thin; it's just copper wire. Every 4 inches is an LED encased in plastic for protection. I do live in Phoenix, which is a desert, but they've been perfectly fine for the rain we've had so far. I love that these come with a remote. There are various dimming levels and even a strobe option. I put the remote in a plastic sandwich bag to keep it clean. The sensor has no problem with it.These lights look great, now just as long as they light up next year I will be even happier.Update; these worked fine agn this year, didn't take off tree just pulled apart in middle and stuffed in a vinyl bag with other decorations. Pulled out and plugged in...Nice lights, very bright but they don't seem to be of great quality. They do go out in places. Hard to fix, if it's even possible at all. I won't purchase again, not for outside anyway. I might purchase again for inside use but would likely just shop locally if in need for lights again.They arrived when expected. Is exactly as shown.I ordered 2 sets of lights. The first package was wonderful, the second one was all twisted together I had to toss it. I have been trying to send a concern in today but can not access my orders.Love these lights ,love that they plug in
